Adnan Iftikhar Has graduated from School of physiotherapy, Mayo Hospital Lahore Pakistan. After graduating as a physiotherapist, Adnan moved to UK for higher studies  and completed his  Masters in musculoskeletal rehabilitation . Adnan  has worked  in respiratory medicine and accident and emergency  as a specialist physiotherapist  for triaging some complex spinal and respiratory  patients. For last three years Adnan is working as specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist till date. Adnan is certified acupuncturist and  completed courses in Orthopedic Medicine from Society of Orthopedic Medicine UK. Currently adnan is taking intraarticular and soft tissue injections for physiotherapist from university of Essex.  Adnan has developed his interest in shoulder and spinal conditions and enjoy working closely with these patients.

Research interests:  Relationship of lower limb biomechincs and low back pain.  Effects of coping strategies on rehabilitation outcome in chronic low back pain.  Rehabilitaion of shoulder joint.

Atif qualified as a remedial and physiotherapist in 2003. Until 2006 he worked in Pakistan and then moved to UK and completed his masters in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. He has worked and trained under Kevin Banks one of the leading teachers in Maitland concepts.

He has specialised training in the use of acupuncture for musculoskeletal problems. He has been teaching Mulligan and McKenzie Concept to junior and student physiotherapist in NHS.

Sameer Gohir, MSc. Sports Physiotherapist (UK), MSc APA (Ireland/Belgium), MCSP (UK), SRP (UK) - London, UK

Sameer has a Masters degree in adapted physical activity and pursuing masters in Sports physiotherapy. He works for NHS as Physiotherapy Team Leader and in Private Sector as Specialist physiotherapist in London to provide rehabilitation and strengthening to athletes, players and general population. His skills include deep tissue massage, joint mobilisation, specific muscle stretching, strengthening and personal work-out plans.

Specialisation:

Musculoskeletal - spinal and lower limb injuries in athletes, Postural alignment, movement control, sports injuries, Core control, Shoulder rehabilitation, and Sports massage

Other experience:

Sameer has also worked in American hospital based in Saudi Arabia and expert in treating diverse population across the globe. He has also completed internship in Belgium and Ireland as part of his masters degree.

Rashid Hafeez M.Phil (Physiotherapy) (PK), MSc. APA (Belgium/Ireland), BSPT (PT)

Mr. Rashid Hafeez Nasir is Irish Certified Physiotherapist, has graduated from School of Physiotherapy, Mayo Hospital, Lahore. After graduating as Physiotherapist, Rashid moved to Belgium and Ireland Where he has completed Masters in Adapted Physical Activity in 2007. Rashid have secured European Commission Scholarship for Erasmus Mundus Masters in Adapted Physical Activity 2006-2007. He further has completed his M.Phil in Physiotherapy recently from King Edward Medical University. Rashid has pursued his carrier in Physiotherapy Academics, Clinical as well as in Sports. He is currently working as Official Sports Physiotherapist in Pakistan Rugby Union and Punjab Rugby Association from 2007, working as Physiotherapist at Mayo Hospital Lahore working on Neuromusculoskeletal disorders from 2007, and teaching at School of Physiotherapy, Mayo Hospital, King Edward Medical University, Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Fatima Memorial Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan

Dr. Fariha Shah, PT, DPT (USA) Lahore, PK

Dr. Farhia Shah did her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003 from Simmons College, Boston, MA USA. The title of her DPT research project was “Effectiveness of Patella Taping for Adults with Knee Pain.” She has experience from Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center, Boston, MA; New England Baptist Hospital, Waltham, MA; Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital, Salem, NH; HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center, and Courville Rehab Center, Manchester, NH.

Since 2007, she has been working as Physiotherapy Head of Department in Fatima Memorial College of Medicine & Dentistry (FMCM&D) - Institute of Allied Health Sciences (IAHS), Lahore. Within last four years since her joining, FMH-IAHS physiotherapy students have obtained 26 positions and 72 distinctions at University of Health Sciences. She was also a member of Higher Education Center’s formed National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC) on the DPT curriculum. Moreover, she was on the organization committee of National Physiotherapy Forum’s first meeting in June, 2011.

Her research interests lie in Neuromuscular and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.
